About Mina

Working at the intersection of ethics, education, and a world in transition, I explore how ideas travel, take shape, and begin to matter. My practice is less about delivering information than about translating ways of seeing: I work with organisations to turn complex knowledge into narratives, images, and conversations that do not simply explain the world, but invite us to relate to it differently—and, perhaps, to act accordingly.

As an environmental ethicist, I am drawn to the ever-shifting relationship between humans and the worlds they inhabit. Unlike the natural scientist, I do not peer through microscopes or reach for measuring tapes in search of answers. Instead, I turn to the many cultural artefacts and expressions we so industriously produce—stories, systems, objects, entire ways of living—and ask what they reveal about us. For in these creations, one can trace not only our ingenuity, but also the quiet, persistent ways in which we shape, disturb, and redefine the environments that, in the end, shape us in return.

Hi, I’m Pia Wimmer – stustainabiliy communication strategist, researcher, and storyteller.

My work unfolds where science meets lived reality. Rather than merely communicating knowledge, I am interested in how it is perceived, interpreted, and woven into everyday life. Drawing on environmental ethics and educational practice, I develop narratives, formats, and visual languages that help organisations speak about change in ways that feel tangible, relevant, and quietly compelling—because transformation rarely begins with information alone, but with a shift in how we see ourselves in relation to the world.
